• Advisor to a Washington, DC-based environmental NGO on the development of internal and public policies related to the expansion of its Clean Ocean Energy initiatives
• Since 2008, Consultant to the National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL) on the development of international standards and conformity assessment protocols for marine renewable energy
• Co-author of a report funded by the Renewable Energy Alaska Project (REAP) that describes the challenges and opportunities associated with the development of Alaska’s significant ocean and river energy resources
• Consultant to an environmental engineering firm on the development of a software tool that will help developers of marine renewable energy projects quickly identify the most promising sites for more detailed evaluation
• Advisor to the World Ocean Council on the re-launch of its SMART Oceans – SMART Industries program
